I've been active in social movements for more than half a century and studied them as an academic for almost as long. Here's how my thinking about them has changed. Belatedly.
Last week, I attended a conflict resolution summer camp. It reminded me of my own days as a counselor at YMCA Camp Hazen exactly fifty years ago. More importantly, it reminded me of how wonderful today's young people can be when it comes to peace and conflict resolution.
