Young Peacebuilders
As a veteran of the 1960s peace and civil rights movements, I'm always glad to see a new generation aim to do us one better. Here are some initiatives being undertaken by young peacebuilders that give me hope.
Iran
We are facing yet another foreign policy crisis in our relationship with Iran. Two things happened yesterday that (re)shaped and (re)focused my thinking.
Oman
Just before Christmas, I spent a week in Oman, while attending a retreat on reconciliation. The trip taught me a lot about peacebuilding, starting with the country itself.
Build Peace 2019
Build Peace 2019 ended on Saturday. The sixth version of this traveling conference that blends peacebuilding, information technology, and the arts took place in San Diego and Tijuana. As always, a great time as had by all. Next year, Cape Town.
